This Gem Proof coin is part of the Teotihuacan Collection. Pictured is a detail of the "Quetzalcoatl Temple": a serpent (Serpiente) which is one of the most powerful Gods in the Teotihuacan civilization to whom special rituals were dedicated. The face value of this 1 oz. 999 fine gold coin is 100 new pesos. We don’t know how many were made, but believe it is very scarce. Comes in clear protective capsule.
