Second serie of State coins depicting historical monuments of each of the 31 States and the Distrito Federal.These are meant to circulate, which makes them the only circulating silver coins in the world. Coin contains a 1/2 oz. .925 sterling silver center surrounded by an aluminum-bronze outer ring. Difficult to find because these coins are not exported by the Mexico City Mint.

Coin depicts the Palacio de Cortes (Cortes Palace), at the right it depicts the bust of a Chinelo, a personage of a typical Morelos dancing.
