On August 20 2007, the Bank of Mexico released for circulation the new Polymer $20 Pesos Banknote. The new banknotes depicts on the obverse to Benito Juarez, and on the reverse, the archeological site of Monte Alban, in Oaxaca.

The dimensions on this new banknote are: L 120 mm. x H 66 mm.

As main security locks, this new banknote has a transparent window and a dove at the upper left corner, printed with a special ink that changes in color depending on the angle banknote is placed.
