This type of figure was very well liked by Mayan people who made it their most persistent decorative element through their evolution period. The motif reproduced in this coin can be found in the strange facade of the Kabah Temple, in the Yucatán peninsula, where stylized representations of the Chaac mask, God of the rain, are found. Coin comes in its original capsule.
