The first serie of bimetal coins commemorating Mexico's 32 States. Each coin depicts the shield of the state it represents. These are meant to circulate, which makes them the only circulating silver coins in the world. Coin contains a 1/2 oz. .925 sterling silver center surrounded by an aluminum-bronze outer ring. Difficult to find because these coins are not exported by the Mexico City Mint.
