Mexico is very proud to commemorate the 80 th. Anniversary of the Banco de Mexico with this beautiful bimetallic coin. Coin depicts a $1 Peso Banknote, slightly modified for the purcpose of the coin. These coins are meant to circulate, which makes them the only circulating silver coins in the world. Coin contains a 1/2 oz. .925 sterling silver center surrounded by an aluminum-bronze outer ring. Difficult to find because these coins are not exported by the Mexico City Mint.
